WE LOVE COFFEE FROM THE MOTHERLAND!

 

Ethiopia, and seemingly the high plains of South Sudan, is the genetic birthplace of Coffea Arabica. For an absolute heap of reasons this means that there is more biodiversity in the plants that grow there. For even more reasons this is super important. 

Completely unrelated to sustainability or the future of coffee cultivation as a consumable good, these coffees are absolutely freakin' delicious!

This year we decided to do something a little different and buy our coffees from a small selection of washing stations we've noticed really high quality lots coming out from, not unusual. What is unusual is that we have bought equal amounts of both fully washed & natural processed paired together to show the absolute spectrum of tasty-ness that can come from these farmers, plants, co-ops & environments.

Classsic, Classy and Clean. This is a vibrant complex and juicy coffee that has loads of fruit and florals typical of the region. Gesha? What's that? This is Ethiopian baby!

PROCESSING: Dried naturally in the fruit on raised beds

Super clean example of Natural Processing. Wildly aromatic with the same fruit core as the washed with a little extra extra.
