Petit AB from Kiambu County, in Kenya’s central highlands is sweet, bright, fruity and all things Kenyan coffee!
Petit is a small coffee estate located in Kiambu County, in Kenya’s central highlands. The farm sits in the foothills of the extinct volcano, Mt Kenya, in an area defined by its bright red, nutrient-rich, volcanic soil and a cool climate, conditions that are ideal for exceptional coffee production and outstanding quality.
Peter Kugi Ndugo established the estate in 2010 and grew up in the area. After leaving his family’s coffee farm to pursue a successful career in finance, Peter returned to his village when he retired and decided to plant coffee and bananas and keep dairy cows.
Peter built his wet mill on the estate and processes the coffee independently which allows him to control every step of the coffee’s production – from farming, harvesting, processing, drying and sale.
