One of the country's most unique and complex regions of coffee production, Cauca is located in southwestern Colombia.
In Cauca, there are up to 93,000 hectares of coffee-producing farmland. The high altitude, proximity to the equator and volcanic soils make this region perfect for growing high-quality coffee.
This coffee is decaffeinated using Ethyl Acetate, a naturally occurring ester that bonds with and removes the caffeine in green coffee. This process leaves the coffee's characteristics intact allowing the coffee to shine.
