Sunshine

from $20.00

Consider this our signature coffee. Sometimes a blend, sometimes not. Always designed to be balanced, sweet and textural. Roasted for Espresso but enjoyed with milk, or without. There are no hard and fast rules with this one - brew for filter, french press, batch brewer, stovetop. Hell, even a saucepan if you like. You do you, boo.

San Fermin AAA, Colombia

Smooth · Apple ·Caramel · Berries

Process: Washed

Varieties:  Caturra, Colombia, Castillo

Our first Colombian iteration of Sunshine comes from the high climbs and nutritious soils of Planadas, Tolima. The San Fermin farmers group are known for their audacity and courage, joy and unity—qualities that mirror the world-famous San Fermin festivities in Pamplona, Spain, after which they're named.

Having endured decades of internal conflict, these resilient producers pushed through the pressures of guerrilla groups to keep producing coffee and improving their crops. Since the peace agreement of 2016, they've been able to increase production and focus on implementing sustainable and environmentally-conscious agricultural practices, with most producers now organically certified.

This coffee embodies their spirit: bright citric acidity, panela sweetness, chocolate and red fruit notes, with a medium body and balanced finish.
